Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee production and transportation activities to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage inventory schedule shipments and communicate with internal teams and external carriers to maintain efficient logistics operations.

Main Duties
- Coordinate scheduling of production runs and transportation to meet delivery timelines and production targets.
- Arrange track and follow up on inbound and outbound shipments liaising with carriers suppliers and warehouses.
- Maintain and update inventory records forecasts and reorder levels using inventory management systems.
- Prepare and verify shipping and transportation documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and company procedures.
- Monitor logistics performance metrics identify bottlenecks and recommend or implement process improvements.
- Communicate with operations customer service and external stakeholders to resolve issues and coordinate deliveries.
Requirements
- Postsecondary diploma or degree in supply chain logistics business administration or equivalent experience.
- Relevant experience in logistics transportation or production coordination within a distribution manufacturing or transportation environment.
- Proficiency with inventory management systems transportation management systems and spreadsheet software.
- Working knowledge of shipping procedures transportation documentation and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

High school diploma Proven work experience as a Truck Driver Class A CDL or commercial driver license Traffic laws/ DOT regulations/ driving knowledge Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS AVL units CB etc) Must pass drug and alcohol test Pallet jack experience required; forklift experience preferred Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Must have clean driving record Ability to lift 80 pounds repeatedly throughout day Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic weather conditions etc) Listening and verbal communication skills
