Job description
Job Description

We are seeking a Service Proposal Specialist for our Energy and Resources sector. Reporting to the Service Proposals and Project Control Manager, you will play a key role in the preparation, coordination, and quality assurance of proposals submitted to our clients, particularly for projects in renewable energy, decarbonization, and energy transition. You will be at the heart of the bidding process, collaborating with technical and business development teams.

We offer a flexible hybrid work model that allows you to work from home and from one of our offices.

CIMA+’s Energy and Resources team is at the heart of the energy transition. With more than 700 specialists, it ranks among the largest engineering consulting teams in Canada in this field. Driven by a culture of innovation, sustainability, and collaboration, we support our clients at every stage of their projects—from feasibility to commissioning—by developing concrete solutions tailored to their specific needs.

By joining us, you’ll thrive in a dynamic and stimulating environment where your expertise will be valued and will have a real impact on today’s projects and tomorrow’s challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proposal Coordination: Coordinate the preparation of proposals (content, resources, meetings, timelines, and compliance)
  • Writing and Formatting: Draft and adapt content, ensuring its accuracy, consistency, and visual quality
  • Compliance and Document Management: Produce and update related documents (resumes, project fact sheets, presentations, etc.)
  • Strategic Support: Contribute to the development of response strategies and identify differentiating factors
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead post-proposal reviews and contribute to the optimization of practices, tools, and processes

Qualifications

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience coordinating service offerings, ideally gained in engineering consulting or in a role with similar responsibilities, or in engineering project delivery,
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to review and edit texts
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
  • Spoken and written French and English, to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams nationwide (an asset)
  • Integrity, team spirit, and a commitment to excellence
  • Advanced proficiency with the Office 365 suite and collaborative tools (including SharePoint)
  • Previous experience in consulting engineering or a professional services environment is a plus.

At CIMA+, we value diversity of talent and perspective. You think you can add value, but don't meet all the job requirements? We invite you to apply, because everyone has something unique to offer. The outstanding talents that choose to join us at CIMA+ soon realize that we go all out to encourage them to grow. We look forward to hearing how you can contribute to our success.

Why choose CIMA+? Because we offer you:

  • Comprehensive Group Benefits available from day one for all permanent employees working at least 20 hours per week
  • Employee and Family Assistance Program
  • Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with up to 4% employer contribution
  • As an employee-owned company, an annual opportunity to purchase shares for all eligible employees
  • Flexible work schedule in a hybrid work mode
  • Work/Life balance policy across Canada
  • 3-5 weeks of vacation, based on years of relevant experience
  • Tailored training to improve your existing skills

At CIMA+, we recognize the richness and diversity of each individual’s experience. Compensation for this role is therefore based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, while maintaining internal equity. The level and associated salary may vary depending on the candidate’s profile.
