Two Men and a Truck Halifax is hiring a part time Customer Service Representative Estimator. You will assist the primary CSR in any way needed, including customer communication, estimating, scheduling, payments and follow ups. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, stays organized, and communicates confidently both online and over the phone. You will support customers from their first message to the final booking and help keep our office running smoothly.

You will handle a mix of customer communication, estimating, scheduling, payments, collections and occasional in home visits. The right person is comfortable switching between phone calls, Facebook messages, emails, in home estimates and office tasks while keeping a friendly and professional tone.

What You Will Do

• Assist the primary CSR with daily tasks and customer communication
• Help customers plan their move and recommend the right services
• Provide accurate moving and packing estimates through our Movers Who Care system
• Handle calls, emails, texts and Facebook Messenger conversations
• Complete in home estimates when required
• Enter, schedule and coordinate moves and estimates
• Take payments and close sales orders
• Follow up on aged receivables and overdue accounts
• Support office administration and maintain accurate records
• Resolve customer concerns with professionalism and care
• Support sales, marketing and charitable activities
• Work closely with drivers and movers to ensure smooth operations

• A positive and calm approach even during busy periods
• Strong organizational skills and comfort multitasking
• Solid math skills for estimating
• Confidence initiating conversations and asking for the sale
• Comfortable chatting with customers online
• Strong ability to use Microsoft 365 and Google Docs
• Basic computer literacy
• High school diploma or equivalent. Post secondary education is an asset
• Legally allowed to work in Canada
• Comfortable visiting customers’ homes for estimates

Hours and Pay

Starting pay is seventeen dollars per hour and includes a two percent bonus on all moves you book.

Summer schedule is three to four days per week with a half day Saturday.

Fall and winter schedule is two to three days per week.
