Job Summary

Assess and adjudicate claims and revenue-related files to ensure compliance with program rules and policies. Conduct investigations resolve discrepancies and communicate outcomes to claimants and stakeholders.

Main Duties

• Assess eligibility and process claims by verifying documentation income records and supporting evidence.
• Review financial records payroll tax and benefit data to identify discrepancies and determine entitlements or obligations.
• Conduct investigations into suspected overpayments or fraud including evidence gathering and interviewing relevant parties.
• Calculate recoveries arrange repayment plans and coordinate with other agencies or departments for collection and enforcement actions.
• Provide clear guidance and information to claimants employers and stakeholders regarding program requirements appeals and obligations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed case files reports and statistical records using case management systems and databases.

Requirements

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in accounting finance business administration social sciences or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience in claims assessment auditing investigations or a related analytical role involving financial review and decision making.
• Working knowledge of rules regulations and administrative processes related to benefits or revenue programs.
• Proficiency with office software and case management or database systems for record keeping and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information professionally and willingness to undergo background checks as required.
