  • Analyze policy language and determine applicable coverage.

  • Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves throughout the life of the claim.

  • Monitor claim strategy and ensure prompt resolution while balancing customer service and business objectives.

  • Communicate proactively with insureds, brokers, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.

  • Partner with defense counsel, independent adjusters, experts, appraisers, and other service providers to achieve effective claim outcomes.

  • Minimum of 1 year of claims handling or claims management experience.

  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex issues and provide well-reasoned recommendations.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong customer service mindset and collaborative approach.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Legal education or experience.

  • AMF Claims Adjustment Certification (Commercial Lines) or membership with the Barreau du Québec.

  • Experience handling liability or commercial lines claims.
