Purpose of the Position: The Therapist will provide direct clinical services to individuals and their families in need of counselling/psychotherapy. The incumbent is responsible for delivering high quality assessment and individual/group treatment/counselling intervention(s) following best practice recommendations. The priority for service provision will be individuals experiencing co-occurring substance use and serious mental illness and residing within the District of Muskoka. The Therapist works in partnership with other internal and external service providers to meet the needs of the client including the provision of consultation and education internally and externally.
Education and Qualifications:
Salary scale: $36.62 to $45.15 per hour commensurate with qualifications and experience
