Job Overview

Analyst Analytical Chemistry

As an Analyst for our Analytical Chemistry team at the Sherbrooke location you will be involved in the analysis of samples using various techniques in support of client studies or procedures.

In this role primary responsibilities include:

• Perform these analyses by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) spectrometry.
• Perform various techniques for the analysis of the test substances allowing the identification and quantification as well as the verification of different parameters while respecting the Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
• Work in collaboration with scientific staff.
• Ensure the technical understanding of their work and ensure the proper conduct of the studies by identifying potential problems potential solutions and corrective measures.

If you have the following qualifications well train you for the rest:

• Collegial diploma in Science or B. Sc. degree in Biology or related field;
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques;
• Ability to work autonomously and organized;
• Be meticulous and resourceful;
• Bilingualism is required.

• Transportation: Easily accessible using Sherbrookes public transit system. Free parking. Electric vehicle charging station;
• Salary: 23.75$/hrs
  • Evenings: $2.50;
  • Weekend: $2.75;
  • Overtime: Time and a half;
  • Holidays: Double time;
• Annual bonus based on performance;
• Schedule: Mostly Monday to Friday depending on the needs you may have to do overtime.
• Permanent position 37.5hrs

About Safety Assessment
Charles River is committed to helping our partners expedite their preclinical drug development with exceptional safety assessment services state-of-the-art facilities and expert regulatory guidance. From individual specialty toxicology and IND enabling studies to tailored packages and total laboratory support our deeply experienced team can design and execute programs that anticipate challenges and avoid roadblocks for a smooth efficient journey to market.
