  • Incorporate current evidence-based practices related to resilience, risk and protective factors, and caregiver-child relationships.
  • Foster meaningful discussion and encourage the application of concepts to professional practice.
  • Utilize online learning technologies to create an engaging and supportive virtual classroom experience.
  • Support learner success and achievement of program learning outcomes.

What You Bring to Seneca

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or a closely related field (required).
  • Additional post-secondary education, graduate studies, specialized certifications, or professional development in Early Childhood Mental Health, Child Development, Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Education, or related disciplines is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated expertise in early childhood mental health, early childhood development, and children's social-emotional development.
  • Experience working with children, families, childcare settings, parent-child resource centers, or early learning environments.
  • Experience delivering training in online synchronous and/or hybrid learning environments.
