Your new role
The open role is for a Health and Safety Lead to look after all projects in the Greater Toronto Area. Working out of the Oakville office, this individual will champion our client's health and safety program through administrative oversight, documentation accuracy and strong internalmunication. They will visit sites and perform inspections as needed and write reports while providing rmendations to the site team. They will conduct seminars for site employees in regard to WHMIS, Fall Protection, Working at Heights, New Employee Orientation, CPR/First Aid, etc. They will lead joint health and safety meetings and update allmunications boards within thepany.
What you'll need to succeed
The Health and Safety Lead will have at least 5 years of H&S experience specifically in construction. They will have a strong understanding of health and safety legislation within the construction industry, and be able to influence site personnel and other members to follow all rules and regulations. The H and S lead will be NCSO certified, have strongmunication and presentation skills, and have a valid driver's license and a dependable vehicle to travel to site. Finally, you must be CPR / First Aid Certified.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive apetitive base salary of $95,000 - $110,000 dependent on experience, a vehicle allowance, fullprehensive benefits, paid vacation and much more!
