Real Estate Coordinator

Telecon is seeking an energetic, career-minded professional to join our growing team as a Real Estate Coordinator.

This full-time position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with three days per week spent working from our Vaughan office.

The expected hourly rate for this position is in the range of $25.00-$30.00, based on the richness and diversity of the candidate's experience, training, skills, and internal equity. The final hourly rate may vary depending on the successful candidate's profile.

The primary objective of this position is to support the Real Estate team in managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the company's real estate portfolio, ensuring that all business needs are met. This is a highly visible, high-impact role that requires an intelligent, mature, and discreet individual.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full invoicing cycle for the company's real estate portfolio.
• Create and maintain the filing system.
• Be responsible for the month-end accounting process.
• Record accounting journal entries in the accounting system.
• Perform analyses such as expense recharges, common area maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, and other financial analyses.
• Create and monitor monthly financial performance reports, including data entry.
• Manage commercial mortgage renewals from initial contact through approval and renewal commitment, and facilitate mortgage assumptions where applicable.
• Maintain general ledgers with multiple cost centres.
• Prepare administrative and budget files for real estate properties, including operating budget variance analyses and reporting.
• Prepare monthly accrual and adjusting journal entries.
• Maintain job cost records and capital expenditure budgets.
• Review accounts payable coding.
• Be responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping.

Requirements

• Experience in property management is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of SharePoint.
• BIlingual (French/English) is an asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
• Knows when to ask questions and demonstrates a strong sense of urgency.
• Friendly, optimistic, and approachable demeanor, with the ability to build strong relationships and maintain a customer service mindset.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in all aspects of professional responsibilities.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• A "no task is too small" attitude.

• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong multitasking skills
