Your new role
As a Licensed Architect, you will play a key leadership role within the practice, overseeing multiple residential projects from design through approvals and construction. Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage project teams, coordinate consultants and clients, and mentor junior staff and co-op students.Your responsibilities will include leading the design and delivery of small to mid-scale residential developments, navigating municipal approvals and zoning processes, managing project schedules and stakeholder relationships, and contributing to the ongoing development of internal standards and operational processes.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will be an OAA Licensed Architect with a minimum of 5 years of experience working on residential projects within the Toronto market.You will possess:
- Strong experience managing projects through design, approvals, and construction administration.
- In-depth knowledge of Toronto zoning bylaws and municipal approval processes.
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, including Parts 3 and 9.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellentmunication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience coordinating consultants, clients, and project teams.
Additional qualifications such as LEED Accreditation, Passive House certification, or experience working on innovative residential housing typologies would be considered an asset.
