Account Executive – Business Development & Account Management
Location: Remote Employment Type: Full-time, Independent Contractor Schedule: Aligned to U.S. and European business hours (EST-based overlap) Work Setup: Fully remote
About the Company
We are a rapidly growing, global provider of formwork, shoring, and rebar detailing services, supporting complex concrete construction projects across North America and Europe — from foundation to roof.
Our work is defined by technical precision: PE-stamped drawings, system-compliant designs, and detailing that helps our clients build faster and with fewer errors. We serve general contractors, concrete contractors, fabricators, and formwork and shoring suppliers, delivering the engineering support that makes their projects and product offerings more competitive.
We are a people-first organization built on technical excellence and collaboration, with delivery teams across multiple regions and a strong investment in training and long-term career growth.
About the Role
We have built a strong, proven delivery capability. This role exists to build the commercial engine on top of it.
As Account Executive, you own revenue growth on two fronts: winning new business and expanding the accounts we already serve. You will open doors with contractors, fabricators, and engineering firms who need outsourced detailing, and — just as importantly — develop channel relationships with formwork and shoring suppliers, equipment dealers, and rental companies who bundle our detailing services into their own offerings.
This is a consultative sale into a technical industry. You do not need to be an engineer, but you do need to speak the language of construction credibly and translate our detailing capability into clear business value for the buyer. You will be the commercial face of the company, working closely with our delivery and estimation teams to scope, price, and win work.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Identify, target, and win new accounts across contractors, concrete and rebar fabricators, and structural engineering firms.
- Develop channel and partnership relationships with formwork and shoring suppliers, equipment dealers, and rental companies who can embed our detailing services into their offerings.
- Build and work targeted account lists, run outbound outreach, and lead discovery conversations to uncover detailing and estimation needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and relevant associations to generate pipeline.
Account Management & Expansion
- Own and grow a portfolio of existing accounts, deepening relationships and increasing share of their detailing spend.
- Identify expansion opportunities — additional service lines (formwork, shoring, rebar, estimation, PE-stamp support) and additional volume within each account.
- Conduct regular account reviews, understand each client's project pipeline, and position the company as a long-term partner rather than a vendor.
Sales Process & Pipeline Management
- Coordinate with the delivery and estimation teams to scope, price, and prepare accurate proposals and quotes.
- Negotiate service agreements and pricing in line with company standards.
- Maintain a clean, current CRM with accurate pipeline, activity, and forecasting.
- Meet and exceed defined revenue and new-business targets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, feeding market and client insight back to delivery and leadership.
- Partner with technical teams to ensure commitments made in the sale are realistic and deliverable.
Required Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales experience with a track record spanning both new business development and account growth.
- Ability to sell a technical service credibly to construction, engineering, or industrial buyers — translating capability into business value.
- Strong discovery, proposal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and disciplined pipeline management.
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote setting, working across U.S. and European business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling into construction, AEC, building products, equipment, or engineering services.
- Familiarity with formwork, shoring, rebar, concrete construction, detailing, or estimating workflows.
- An existing network among general contractors, concrete contractors, fabricators, or formwork and shoring suppliers.
- Experience with channel or partnership-based sales models.
- Professional proficiency in Spanish in addition to English.
Ideal Candidate Profile
You are:
- A hunter who also nurtures — energized by opening new doors, and equally committed to growing accounts over time.
- Credible with technical buyers — you can learn the detailing domain quickly and hold a substantive conversation with estimators and operations leaders.
- Consultative, not transactional — you sell by understanding the client's business, not by pushing a service.
- Disciplined — you run a clean pipeline, forecast honestly, and follow through.
- Self-directed — you operate independently in a remote role and take full ownership of your number.
- Comfortable being the face of the company — professional, articulate, and confident representing the brand in-market.
