Description

Perfect clinic for Family physicians looking to establish or relocate their practice. Our admin staff are here and ready to support you.

WELL Health – Hillside clinic puts patients and their family’s health first. We are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes. Our clinic is situated in the Walmart located at the Hillside shopping centre with easy on the Walmart side. This modern clinic is inside the Walmart, up the escalators on the second floor next to the pharmacy.

This is a shopping complex hosts a wide array of retail stores, restaurants and services to meet everyone’s needs. Easy to find with ample parking for visitors, patients, and families.

Our Hillside location is a multi-disciplinary and multi‑physician clinic with a very collegiate atmosphere and a physician focused MOA support team.

The clinic also provides virtual and telehealth options which can be accessed at home.

The ideal physician or nurse practitioner would be able to provide full‑scope family practice either full‑time or part‑time. This position can have a small walk‑in component. The WELL Health team will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and would be masters of your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want!

Financials

Overhead Agreement: Monthly via PCN, LFP, or FFS

The financial agreement in the clinic is coordinated through with the Director of Recruitment.

Practice Details

• Shared access up to 2 rooms during shifts, clinic has 18 exam rooms and private office space, 3 physician offices
• Shared office space

Hours (flexible)

The clinic opens from 8:30am Mon to Fri. The new practitioners will work out a schedule with the clinic.

• No strict policy around time off
• Clinic hours are subject to change based on practitioners' availability

Staff

The clinic currently has 13 physicians working part‑time and full‑time, as well as an office manager, RN, and MOA’s who can all help with the transition process.

Files

The Clinic is currently using OSCAR EMR. There are no paper charts associated with the practice.

Qualifications

• Hold or eligible for Certification in the College of Family Physicians (CCFP)
• Hold or eligible for full license to practice medicine in BC
• Good standing with BC's College of Physicians and Surgeons
• Provisional license eligible applicants are welcome to apply
• Hospital privileges will be an asset
