The Decision Modelling team sits at the intersection of corporate finance, strategy, and transactions, supporting clients with critical business and investment decisions.

We work across sectors to develop integrated financial models and decision tools that support:

  • Business planning and forecasting
  • Capital allocation and investment decisions
  • Transaction and investment evaluation (buy-side, sell-side, infrastructure and project finance)
  • Strategic planning, scenario analysis and performance tracking

As a Senior, you will play a key role in designing and delivering financial models and insights that directly inform management and investor decisions. Our work is highly commercial in nature and requires strong understanding of financial performance drivers, valuation principles, and business strategy.

What you will do

  • Build integrated financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning
  • Support transaction and valuation analyses, including buy-side, sell-side, and project finance engagements
  • Translate operational and financial drivers into actionable insights for client decision-making
  • Perform scenario, sensitivity, and risk analysis to support strategic and investment decisions
  • Review financial models to assess logical integrity, assumptions, and commercial implications
  • Work directly with clients and internal teams to understand key business issues and provide decision-oriented solutions
  • Contribute to business development efforts and client relationship building

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong foundation in corporate finance, including financial planning, valuation, or transaction advisory
  • Enthusiasm for Excel, with experience building or reviewing financial models for financial planning and investment analysis
  • Working knowledge of financial statements and key business performance drivers
  • Ability to translate complex financial analysis into clear, decision-ready insights
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
  • Effective communication skills, including ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • High attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality outputs
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across multiple engagements

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated experience developing financial models for business planning, forecasting, or transactions
  • Experience in corporate finance, FP&A, valuation, or transaction advisory environments
  • A professional designation such as CPA, CFA, or CBV (or equivalent progress towards a designation)
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and assess key value drivers
  • The role involves interaction with clients operating nationally and globally. Bilingualism in both French and English is therefore a requirement of this role.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience working on transaction-related projects or capital investment decisions
  • Exposure to infrastructure or project finance modelling
  • Experience communicating financial concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (, Power BI)
  • Exposure to coding languages such as VBA, Python or SQL (considered an asset but is not required)
