du poste -->Reporting to the Economic Development Manager, this position contributes to the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy and strategic priorities. This position will help promote economic growth opportunities and community development through marketing initiatives, business engagement, and project support. A key part of the role is promoting and sharing Stony Plain’s unique story by showcasing the community’s strengths, identity, and opportunities. The successful candidate will be community-focused, service-oriented, with a passion for supporting local businesses, residents, partners, and investors through meaningful engagement. The specialist will work to ensure Stony Plain remains an attractive, investment-friendly, and future-ready community through marketing activities, data collection, and economic development support.

What we do for you:
The salary range for this position is $71, - $91, per annum based on experience. This is a permanent full-time position based on 35 hours per week. The incumbent may be expected to work outside business hours to host and/or attend community or regional meetings and events as required. The Town has an excellent health and benefits package including the Local Authorities Pension Plan.
