UI Developer - Document Technologies - REMOTE

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing sophisticated document rendering, annotation, and management solutions for complex web applications. Responsibilities
• Lead the front-end development, architecture, and seamless integration of interactive, web-based document viewers.
• Collaborate closely with Backend Engineers, QA, and Product Management to deliver robust document annotation, redaction, and rendering features.
• Optimize UI performance to ensure fast load times and smooth rendering of large-scale, high-resolution document files directly in the browser.
• Write clean, modular, and highly scalable front-end code using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular).
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex integration challenges involving third-party document APIs and rendering engines.

Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development with deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong proficiency in at least one modern UI framework, such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and modern web security practices.
• Previous experience in industries requiring heavy document management, secure handling, or strict compliance standards (e.g., Insurance, LegalTech, FinTech, HealthTech) is highly advantageous.

Preferred: Direct, hands-on experience integrating Accusoft / PrizmDoc into enterprise web applications.
Highly Accepted Alternatives: Extensive experience working with similar HTML5 document viewers, rendering engines, or imaging SDKs such as Apryse (formerly PDFTron), PSPDFKit, Foxit SDK, Leadtools, Snowbound VirtualViewer, or ABBYY FineReader.
