Our energy & resources client is seeking a Procurement Advisor (4+ years of experience) to manage procurement activities using RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes

Join a supply chain team supporting operational and capital project procurement within the oil & gas sector. This role manages competitive bid processes, supplier negotiations, purchase order issuance, and procurement coordination across multiple projects and equipment acquisitions. The position offers exposure to complex sourcing initiatives, supplier agreement execution, and company-wide cost-saving activities.

Must Haves

• 4+ years in procurement supporting operational and capital projects
• RFI, RFP, RFQ, commercial evaluation, and purchase order processes
• Supplier negotiations, supplier agreements, and procurement coordination for materials, equipment, and supplies
• SOX requirements, procurement records management, and purchasing procedure compliance
• Related university degree

Nice to Have

• Enrollment in the SCMP or CPSM designation program or equivalent
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Mathematical and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Act as the Procurement Lead for assigned core and capital projects
• Perform competitive bid processes from bid preparation through purchase order issuance
• Develop and negotiate supplier agreements
• Coordinate procurement activities for multiple projects and equipment acquisitions
• Conduct pre- and post-bid award meetings with suppliers
• Evaluate supplier performance and address procurement inefficiencies
• Support Business Development through pricing and delivery research
