Client Engineering (Mobile & Web) is looking for a Software Architect who will be a key player in architecting the future technology road map for our native Android and iOS applications that deliver secure personalized and high-performing experiences to millions of users. This candidate will work closely with Product partners business and other Scotia technology teams to provide mobile-first solution design and ensure seamless integration with backend systems and cloud infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in mobile development cloud-native systems security and modern engineering practices.

Is this role right for you In this role you will :

• Architect end-to-end solutions across Android and iOS applications integrated with backend and cloud systems.
• Design architectural solutions roadmaps that are aligned to business and technology strategy enterprise standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with multiple teams Bank-wide on architecture design and follow Banks Architecture Review Board governance processes.
• Present solution design in a way that establishes trust relationships persuades stakeholders and achieves understanding and consensus at all levels.
• Maintain a sharp focus on system security and reliability while developing architecture designs for products and services.
• Participate in cross-functional solutioning discussions and drive architectural decisions effectively
• Develop and maintain technology target state and roadmap for application portfolios in collaboration with Business Leads Chief Architect and Application Portfolio Owners.
• Champion mobile development best practices performance and platform-specific capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the Client Engineering team.
