Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

The Director, Pricing Operations and Vendor Cost Optimization is responsible for leading the Pricing Operations, Business Cases, and Vendor Cost Optimization teams. The Pricing Operations team executes pricing changes across the organization and ensures portfolio, product, and channel analytics inform pricing decisions. This includes establishing governance to manage pricing risk and ensuring pricing standards are applied consistently across the business.

In addition to leading enterprise pricing operations, this role oversees a vendor cost optimization function that provides strategic oversight and advisory support for material vendor spend. The team helps ensure vendor pricing, scope, and commercial arrangements are cost-effective, market-aligned, and supported by disciplined, repeatable frameworks.

You will build and lead high-performing teams, develop scalable and repeatable processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance decision-making, operational efficiency, and business performance across the organization.

Contract Term: 9 months.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the VP, Financial Planning, Analysis, and Pricing Operations.

Posting Type: Replacement.

  • Establish KPIs, reporting, and monitoring processes to measure profitability, pricing effectiveness, realized savings, policy compliance, and performance against targets; develop corrective action plans where required.

  • Partner with FP&A, Treasury, Data, Sales, Marketing, and other business teams to ensure accurate cost inputs, consistent decision frameworks, and alignment between pricing strategies and business objectives.

  • Manage pricing and profitability strategies across SMB, LAKA, and Partnership portfolios, using market insights, customer needs, and financial analysis to support growth and margin objectives.

  • Lead competitive pricing analysis, market assessments, promotional strategy support, and executive-level recommendations to drive business performance and long-term strategic planning.

  • Ensure network pricing changes are implemented accurately and on schedule, including required customer communications and compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations.

  • Provide strategic oversight of material vendor spend by identifying cost optimization opportunities, supporting RFPs and vendor reviews, maintaining optimization frameworks, and advising business leaders on commercial decisions.

  • Build and develop high-performing teams by setting clear expectations, driving accountability, supporting employee development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
