Job description
Job Title: IMAC & Deployment Technician (French or Bilingual)
Job Type: 1-Year Contract (High Probability of Extension)
Location: Montreal, QC (on the road)
Start Date: July 27, 2026
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM (30-minute lunch) Shift times may vary based on customer installation requirements.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Rate: $27/hr T4 OR $30/hr Inc.


Position Overview

Our client is seeking reliable, physically fit, and customer-focused IMAC & Deployment Technicians to support the installation, relocation, and deployment of Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) at customer locations. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in the field, are comfortable handling equipment, and thrive in a team-oriented environment. Working alongside a Lead Technician, you will assist with IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities, safely transport VLT equipment, and help complete onsite installations while delivering exceptional customer service.

This is a long-term contract opportunity with a strong likelihood of extension for up to an additional four years.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Lead Technician with IMAC (Install, Move, Add, and Change) activities.
  • Safely load, transport, unload, and position Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) at customer locations.
  • Secure VLT equipment during transportation and ensure safe handling throughout the delivery process.
  • Operate a 16-foot cube van equipped with a lift gate to transport equipment between locations.
  • Assist with the physical installation and setup of VLT equipment.
  • Perform equipment moves while following all health and safety procedures.
  • Maintain professionalism and provide excellent customer service while onsite.
  • Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently within scheduled timelines.
  • Follow Moneris' installation procedures and company safety standards.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be fluent in French
  • Must have a Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Comfortable driving a 16-foot cube van with a lift gate.
  • Physically capable of lifting, moving, loading, and unloading heavy equipment safely throughout the day.
  • Experience working in field service, installations, deliveries, moving equipment, logistics, or similar hands-on roles is considered an asset.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing schedules based on customer installation requirements.
  • Strong attention to safety and detail.

Language Requirements
  • French fluency is required.
  • Bilingual (French/English) candidates are considered an asset.

Background Check
Successful candidates must successfully complete an LQ Background Check prior to starting employment.

Aperçu du poste
Notre client est à la recherche de techniciens IMAC et déploiement fiables, en bonne condition physique et axés sur le service à la clientèle afin de soutenir l'installation, le déplacement et le déploiement de terminaux de loterie vidéo (VLT) chez les clients. Il s'agit d'une excellente occasion pour les personnes qui aiment travailler sur le terrain, qui sont à l'aise avec la manutention d'équipement et qui excellent dans un environnement collaboratif. En travaillant aux côtés d'un technicien principal, vous participerez aux activités IMAC (Installation, Déplacement, Ajout et Modification), transporterez de façon sécuritaire les équipements VLT et contribuerez à la réalisation des installations sur site tout en offrant un excellent service à la clientèle.

Il s'agit d'une opportunité de contrat à long terme avec une forte probabilité de prolongation pouvant aller jusqu'à quatre années supplémentaires.

Principales responsabilités
  • Assister le technicien principal dans les activités IMAC (Installation, Déplacement, Ajout et Modification).
  • Charger, transporter, décharger et positionner de façon sécuritaire les terminaux de loterie vidéo (VLT) chez les clients.
  • S'assurer que les équipements VLT sont bien sécurisés durant le transport et manipulés de façon sécuritaire tout au long du processus de livraison.
  • Conduire un camion cube de 16 pieds muni d'un hayon élévateur pour transporter l'équipement entre différents sites.
  • Participer à l'installation physique et à la mise en service des équipements VLT.
  • Effectuer les déplacements d'équipement en respectant toutes les procédures de santé et de sécurité.
  • Faire preuve de professionnalisme et offrir un excellent service à la clientèle lors des interventions sur site.
  • Effectuer les tâches assignées avec précision et efficacité tout en respectant les échéanciers établis.
  • Respecter les procédures d'installation de Moneris ainsi que les normes de santé et sécurité de l'entreprise.

Qualifications requises
  • Maîtrise du français obligatoire.
  • Détenir un permis de conduire valide avec un dossier de conduite irréprochable.
  • Être à l'aise de conduire un camion cube de 16 pieds équipé d'un hayon élévateur.
  • Être en mesure de soulever, déplacer, charger et décharger de l'équipement lourd de façon sécuritaire tout au long de la journée.
  • Une expérience en service sur le terrain, en installation, en livraison, en manutention d'équipement, en logistique ou dans un poste similaire constitue un atout.
  • Excellentes aptitudes pour le travail d'équipe et la communication.
  • Capacité à s'adapter à des horaires variables selon les exigences d'installation des clients.
  • Grande attention portée à la sécurité et souci du détail.

Exigences linguistiques
  • Une excellente maîtrise du français est obligatoire.
  • Les candidats bilingues (français et anglais) seront considérés comme un atout.
