Job description
We’re a family with a toddler and two busy careers looking for a reliable, trustworthy person to help keep our household running smoothly. This is a mixed role — mostly housekeeping, with some light childcare support built in. Responsibilities: Morning support (light nanny duties) • Watch our toddler for a short window (expected no more than 30 minutes occasionally) while one or both of us get ready for work • Simple supervised play, snacks, or getting the toddler dressed Housekeeping • General tidying and decluttering • Dusting and vacuuming • Dishes and kitchen wipe-down • Bathroom cleaning • Laundry, including folding and putting away • Changing bed sheets and towels Kitchen • Dinner prep (e.g., chopping, prepping ingredients, simple meal assembly such as a slow cooker meal with instructions) Light Errands • Picking up or dropping off items (like returns or picking up an order) within 15-20 minutes from our home. Schedule: • Monday, Wednesday, Friday • 3–4 hours per visit, ~10 hours/week total • Preferred start time between 8-9am, with some flexibility Requirements: • Own car or reliable transportation • Comfortable and experienced around young children • Housekeeping experience preferred • Trustworthy, punctual, self-directed • Comfortable with light meal prep • Vulnerable sector check required for the successful candidate (We will cover the fee for the successful candidate.) Compensation: $20 an hour Start date: No later than September 2nd. Can start earlier if available. References required.
