As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Project Manager (PMP) to lead complex enterprise PeopleSoft projects involving upgrades, OCI migrations, modernization, and managed services.

Position Overview

The Senior PeopleSoft Project Manager will be responsible for leading large-scale PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, and Campus Solutions initiatives from project initiation through successful production deployment.

This individual will provide executive-level project leadership while managing cross-functional teams consisting of functional consultants, technical consultants, DBAs, cloud architects, developers, QA analysts, and client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience managing enterprise PeopleSoft 9.2 projects and understands both the functional and technical aspects of PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, and cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Project Leadership

• Manage the full lifecycle of PeopleSoft implementation, upgrade, migration, and modernization projects.
• Lead PeopleSoft 9.2 initiatives across:
  • Financials & Supply Chain Management (FSCM)
  • Human Capital Management (HCM)
  • Campus Solutions (CS)
• Manage PeopleTools upgrades, PeopleSoft Image (PUM) implementations, and application upgrades.
• Oversee Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) migration projects.
• Coordinate managed services transition and operational readiness activities.

Project Management

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Establish project governance and reporting structures.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests.
• Monitor project financials and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and customer status reviews.

Team Leadership

Lead cross-functional teams consisting of:

• PeopleSoft Functional Consultants
• Technical Developers
• Integration Specialists
• Oracle Database Administrators
• Cloud Architects
• QA/Test Managers
• Infrastructure Engineers
• Business Analysts
• Customer Project Teams

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for executive sponsors and client leadership.
• Build strong relationships with CIOs, CFOs, PMOs, HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT organizations.
• Present executive dashboards, project health reports, and risk assessments.
• Drive decision-making and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.

Delivery Excellence

• Ensure successful delivery of PeopleSoft implementations, upgrades, integrations, and managed services.
• Coordinate testing activities, cutover planning, go-live readiness, and post-production support.
• Promote PMO best practices and continuous process improvement.
• Mentor project teams and foster collaboration across distributed remote environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, or a related field.
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required.
• 8–10+ years of project management experience leading enterprise PeopleSoft projects.
• Demonstrated success managing:
  • PeopleSoft 9.2 Implementations
  • PeopleSoft Application Upgrades
  • PeopleTools Upgrades
  • PeopleSoft Image (PUM) Updates
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Migrations
  • Managed Services Transitions
• Strong understanding of PeopleSoft architecture, customization, integrations, and operational support.
• Experience managing project scope, budgets, baselines, schedules, resource planning, change orders, and stakeholder communications.
• Outstanding leadership, communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Techno-functional experience with PeopleSoft FSCM, HCM, or Campus Solutions.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Experience leading Shared Services implementations.
• Experience managing projects for federal, state, county, higher education, healthcare, or commercial organizations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar PM tools.
• Exposure to AI-enabled ERP modernization initiatives is a plus.
