Job description

Department: Process Operations

Reports to: Sr Director, Process Operations - Regional

Location: North Vancouver, BC

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As the Senior Manager, Process Operations- Regional, you will operationalize and evolve the downstream Innovation-to-Consumer (I2C) operating model within the Regions, ensuring seamless integration between Global functions and in-region execution teams. You will translate enterprise operating frameworks into consistent, scalable, and effective regional practices that enable high-quality, on-time seasonal delivery across Product, Brand/Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Commercial.

Partnering with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders, you define business needs and dependencies that drive clarity across regional inputs, outputs, decision points, and ways of working, ensuring alignment to global standards while enabling regional business needs. You will champion process excellence by identifying opportunities to simplify, standardize, and improve workflows, ultimately enhancing speed to market, decision quality, and operational effectiveness.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:

The Process Operations team sits at the heart of Arc’teryx’s end-to-end value chain, leading enterprise-wide alignment and advancing a culture of radical collaboration. We optimize the intersection of Product Creation, Supply Chain, Product Data, and Regional Go-To-Market, acting as an internal consultancy that identifies, designs, optimizes, and implements process improvements and operating model changes.

We establish the company’s I2C/Go-To-Market rhythm of business by standardizing calendars and tools, clarifying deliverables and decision rights, and embedding KPI-led performance management. We govern product data, modernize reporting, and build capabilities that enable forward looking visibility, better planning, faster decisions, and on-time seasonal delivery.

As an essential thought partner to executive leadership and cross-functional teams, we deliver clarity, consistency, and cohesion, empowering our people to achieve operational excellence, accelerate our Go-To-Market approach, and strengthen the enterprise through quality processes and measurable outcomes.

The Senior Director, Process Operations leads the Downstream I2C pillar with a hyper‑focus on Global × Regional integration, driving clarity, consistency, and cohesion across Regions, Brand/Marketing, Merchandising, and Supply Chain to enable outstanding seasonal execution.

If you were in the Process Operations Manager - Regional role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:

  • Partnering across a broad set of stakeholders leading deep dives and workshops, distilling complex inputs into clear objectives, and defining critical paths that drive alignment and enable operational execution at scale
  • Driving alignment between Global operating frameworks and Regional execution, ensuring clarity in inputs, outputs, timelines, and decision rights
  • Embedding and maintaining operating rhythms aligned to the enterprise I2C calendar, milestones, and decision points
  • Identifying process gaps, inefficiencies, and friction points across Global and Regional teams and driving solutions that simplify, standardize, and improve ways of working
  • Partnering with Process Operations Team to pilot, iterate, and scale, processes, tools, templates, and workflow improvements
  • Building capability within the team to support regional stakeholders, driving adoption of global standards, and enabling effective change management
  • Establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and ways of working for in-region Process Operations support
  • Creating visibility into regional execution through tracking of milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Supporting readiness checkpoints and decision forums with high-quality inputs and clear stakeholder alignment
  • Leading adoption of new processes, tools, and operating models, ensuring changes are embedded and sustained
  • Reinforcing a culture of operational excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement

Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:

  • Strengthening how Regions plan and execute within the I2C calendar by improving milestone management, readiness checkpoints, and scenario planning to proactively manage risk and drive commercial readiness
  • Embedding clear decision rights, stage gates, and handoff moments across Regions, ensuring consistent execution of global frameworks and alignment at critical points in the seasonal calendar

Are you our next Process Operations Manager - Regional?

  • You bring 8+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or a similar environment, with a track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution
  • You have strong business acumen and thrive in global, matrixed environments; experience in consumer goods, retail, or apparel is an asset
  • You appreciate working within a calendar; you have strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • You have effective and efficient time management skills, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You have an excellent understanding of the I2C process
  • You have strong leadership and teamwork skills and the ability to facilitate work across multiple internal departments and effectively collaborate with our global teams
  • You have the expert ability to explain, articulate, and document concepts, business processes, systems and business requirements
  • You have confidence in communicating and collaborating amongst large and diverse audiences
  • You are proficient in the use of Adobe, Microsoft Office and SmartSheets and or similar project management tools
  • You are willing and able to travel within regions as required for tradeshows, presentations, meetings, consumer events, etc.
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You are highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You demonstrate the ability to balance autonomy and collaboration well
  • You demonstrate the ability to inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvement
  • You possess the drive to seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right
  • Your passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it
