Job description

Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:
  • We require 2+ years of experience in IT support or service roles, including hands-on troubleshooting for Windows 7/10/11 and the Microsoft 365 Admin Console.
  • We look for experience in a Managed Service Provider environment and familiarity with ticket-driven, multi-client support.
  • We require practical experience with device imaging, deployment, and user onboarding or offboarding workflows.
  • We value exposure to EDR/AV and RMM tools, especially for deployment and monitoring.
  • We need strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly to non-technical users.
  • We require a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle for client visits.
  • We expect comfort with lifting IT equipment and using ladders during installations when needed.
  • We require the ability to commute to London, Ontario or relocate before starting.
  • We require English language proficiency.
  • We require 50% travel willingness.
  • Nice-to-have experience includes Windows Server and Exchange administration, Fortinet firewall configuration, VMware or Hyper-V, prior MSP exposure, and Security+, Network+, Microsoft, or Fortinet certifications.
Responsibilities:
  • We image, configure, and prepare computers for new deployments.
  • We handle end-to-end onboarding and offboarding, including accounts, hardware, access, and data handoff.
  • We resolve escalated Level 2 helpdesk tickets for desktops, printers, and peripherals across Windows environments.
  • We provide support both on-site and remotely, including by phone.
  • We deploy, monitor, and support RMM and EDR/AV agents as part of standard workflows.
  • We assist with patch management across client environments.
  • We manage user accounts and licensing in the Microsoft 365 Admin Console.
  • We communicate technical steps and timelines clearly to non-technical clients.
  • We maintain deployment checklists, onboarding/offboarding records, and knowledge base documentation.

We are IDS | Beyond Technology, a small and close-knit Managed Service Provider based in London, Ontario, delivering IT solutions, security, telecom, and digital content to clients across the region. This is a full-time, in-person role with Monday to Friday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
