  • Pay Rate : To be discussed Schedule : Monday–Friday, starting at approximately 3 : 15 PM for 2 hours (4 : 00 PM start available for the right candidate). Location : Our home in Southwest London / Talbot Village About me : Nice to meet you! My name is O, and I am currently in my 6th year of "life studies." I’m a high-energy kiddo who loves music, practicing my ABCs, reading books, playing basketball, and having dance parties! I am a special needs rockstar, so I’m looking for someone patient (instructions / directions require repetition and reinforcement so I can process what you’re saying). I’m still learning how to put together proper full sentences, but I have a great "common vocabulary". For example if I want to have some potato crackers I might forget and say “I want green” instead (because the packaging is green). Just ask me to clarify “green package cracker?”. I’m making progress every day! Physical Support : I am working hard with OT / PT and can walk unsupported. However, I can be run into things when not paying attention—especially if there is something on the floor or if it’s icy outside. You’ll need to hold my hand, use my walking harness (just to catch me if I trip outside!), or stay close by. I can easily walk you around the house to show off my toys or lead you to the mirror for a dance session. I’m about 40lbs, so you should be comfortable carrying me short distances (like from the floor to my high chair or into the swing at the nearby park). What we’ll do together : . These are just examples, 2 hours will fly by quick! * Keep me safe : This is job #1! * Keep me moving : I love going for walks outside and dancing to music! My favourite songs currently : I am a dandelion, The Fate of Ophelia. * Keep me talking : Help me with my speech sounds and encourage me to spell words. Have normal conversations with me to model what that is like so I can learn. * Snack time : Supervise my afternoon snack. My parents have everything prepped / packaged; you just need to heat it up, chop it into safe pieces, and serve. * Relax : Sometimes I like to wind down by lying in bed while you read me a few stories. * Basketball : I have an arcade basketball setup in the basement—I’d love to show you my skills! The Long-Term Plan : My parents work from home, so they are always nearby if you have questions. This is currently an after-school role, but if you’re looking for more hours later on, this can convert to full-time during the summer or full-day hours during March Break and select PD days. (These extra hours are optional—if you aren't available, my parents can find a temp student). Requirements : * Reliability : You are dependable, responsible, and patient. * Transportation : You must be able to get to our home in Southwest London / Talbot Village for the 3 : 15 PM / 4 : 00 PM start time. (My parents are my chauffeurs, so you will never need to drive me anywhere!). * Experience : Experience with special needs or a background in child development / education is a big plus, but not a requirement for the right person. * Physicality : Able to keep up with a 6-year-old and lift / carry 40lbs. * Start Date : Sep 8, 2026 (preferred that you are able to spend a couple weekends during the summer with me beforehand as well so you can get to know me). Because I’m so adorable, you don’t have to worry about any household chores, laundry, or cooking. Your only job is to hang out with me and keep me safe!
