Job Title: Production Assembler / Machine OperatorJob DescriptionThis role involves working in a clean, high-volume manufacturing environment to assemble, test, and package electronic products, including electrical panels and printed circuit boards. You will operate various production equipment such as feeder setup stations and X-ray machines, complete mechanical and electronic assemblies, and support quality and continuous improvement initiatives while meeting production targets.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate feeder equipment for machine-operated production processes.
- Operate X-ray machines safely and accurately to inspect electronic assemblies and components.
- Assemble and prepare electrical panels and circuit boards according to related documentation and work instructions.
- Perform basic and final mechanical assembly using hand tools and fixtures.
- Package electronic products, including final assembly, pack, and ship tasks as required.
- Complete production documentation accurately and on time, including forms, logs, and records.
- Conduct push-button testing and basic functional checks on assembled units.
- Perform PCB masking and depanelization as required by production needs.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders regarding parts shortages, production issues, and process concerns.
- Rotate between different workstations and production cells as needed to support workflow and coverage.
- Participate actively in training and certification programs to maintain and upgrade job knowledge and skill sets.
- Contribute to team-level quality improvement initiatives and follow established quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in line with clean room and manufacturing requirements.
- Meet production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Essential Skills- At least 1 year of production experience in assembly, general labor, or machine operating within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to understand verbal and written instructions fluently.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of units and measurable KPIs.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic mechanical assembly using hand tools.
- Good vision and attention to detail for inspecting and assembling small components.
- Ability to rotate across multiple workstations and adapt to different tasks as required.
- Comfort working with production documentation and following detailed work instructions.
- Reliability and consistency in attendance, performance, and meeting production expectations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience cross-trained across multiple roles such as assembly, machine operation, and testing.
- Direct experience working with printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Background or experience in electronics or electrical assembly.
- Previous experience operating X-ray or similar inspection equipment.
- Experience working in a clean room or controlled manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with quality improvement or continuous improvement initiatives.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs.

Work Environment

The setting is fast-paced and high-volume, with defined KPIs and production targets. You will work around electronic and mechanical equipment, follow clean room practices, and use basic hand tools and testing devices. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safety while supporting collaborative work across different cells and workstations.
