3. How many years working with: Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines RBC Capital Markets is hiring a DevOps Engineer to support onboards, maintains, and offboards institutional and corporate clients through automation, regulatory compliance, and data fabric enablement. What will you do?
CI/CD & Automation
Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines that move code from commit to production with automated testing, security scanning, and controlled promotion across environments.
Automate build, deployment, and release processes to reduce manual steps and deployment risk.
Manage artifact repositories, versioning, and release governance in line with bank change-control requirements.
Infrastructure & Cloud
Provision and manage infrastructure as code, keeping environments consistent, reproducible, and auditable.
Manage containerized workloads and orchestration, including image builds, registries, and runtime configuration.
Support cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP), including networking, access control, and cost visibility.
Reliability & Observability
Build monitoring, logging, and alerting so teams detect and resolve issues before they reach clients.
Define and track service reliability metrics, and drive down recurring incidents through root-cause analysis and automation.
Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for CLM platform services.
Security & Compliance
Embed security into the pipeline: secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and enforcement of access and audit controls.
Support IT risk, architecture, and regulatory requirements specific to a regulated financial services environment.
Ensure infrastructure and deployment practices meet the bank's audit and compliance standards.
Collaboration
Work alongside developers, architects, and platform teams to remove delivery bottlenecks and improve engineering velocity.
Contribute to tooling standards and documentation so practices are repeatable across CLM teams.
What do you need to succeed?
Minimum Requirements
5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or platform engineering, ideally within financial services or another regulated environment.
Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or equivalent).
Strong infrastructure-as-code skills (Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent).
Container and orchestration experience (Docker and Kubernetes).
Proficiency with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Scripting ability (Python, Bash, Go, or equivalent) for automation.
Working knowledge of monitoring and observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK, or equivalent).
