  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to software, media, and workflows (first line of support)
  • Handle corrections, versioning, adaptations, and exports
  • Perform quality control on deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Support editors, assistant editors, producers, and motion designers in day-to-day operations
  • Assist with color, motion design, and other post-production tasks when needed
  • Maintain equipment inventory and ensure proper functioning of all post-production tools
  • Anticipate technical challenges and contribute to problem-solving
  • Stay current with evolving technologies and industry best practices
  • Collaborate closely with teams in both Toronto and Montreal
Qualifications
  • 4-5 years of experience in a post-production or assistant editing role
  • Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and post-production workflows
  • Proficiency in EditShare, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects
  • Experience with Archiware or similar archiving systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication abilities
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Self-sufficient, proactive, and solution-driven
  • Comfortable working in hybrid and remote production environments
  • Experience in color grading, motion graphics, or audio workflows is an asset
  • Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools
