Job description
Hello, We are currently seeking a dedicated companion and personal care provider to work with our family through a very challenging time. My brother Joseph is 51 and has been dealing with serious health issues for the past 5 years. We are looking for a compassionate companion who can offer live in support and personal care. Our ideal candidate is someone who understands the importance of healthy meal preparation, attention to detail, excellent organization skills, clear communication with Joseph and family members and a knowing that companionship and compassion are paramount. We are looking for someone who understands how integral it is to keeping a safe, loving and clean environment for Joseph to work through his current challenges. You would be required to fulfill daily activities while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. We value reliability, empathy, and a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life for our loved one. Joseph loves researching the scriptures and sharing the word of God with all. If you enjoy the bible and are a Christian, this too would be a bonus for us. Some of the daily tasks include dishes, laundry, vacuuming, mopping floors, tidying up and removing any garbage from the home, cooking all meals, preparing snack/beverages, grocery shopping and personal care. Caring for Joseph’s 5 year old daughter when she comes to visit is also required. The pay rate for this position is a $4500.00 per month salary with rent included. Meals are not included.
