CONSEILLER(ÈRE) FISCAL(E)

Travailler au siège social de Groupe Vision, c’est œuvrer au sein du leader nord-américain en matière de correction de la vue. Relevant du Directeur de la fiscalité, vous contribuez à toutes les activités fiscales, notamment l’impôt sur le revenu, les taxes à la consommation, les prix de transfert et la fiscalité SALT au Canada et aux États-Unis.

Vos tâches en un coup d’œil

Conformité fiscale indirecte (CND & US) et impôts (CND)

  • Vous contribuez à la préparation, la révision et au remplissage des déclarations canadiennes de revenu (T2, T-5013), y compris les documents prescrits (T5, T-1134, T-106, NR-4).
  • Vous supervisez la conformité fiscale du groupe en matière de taxe de vente canadienne et formulez des recommandations.
  • Vous participez à la compilation des données et à la vérification des déclarations fiscales américaines (fédérales et étatiques) (1120, 1065). Cela comprend les documents prescrits (1099, par exemple) et les fonctions fiscales indirectes américaines (SALT).
  • Vous êtes responsable de la gestion des audits fiscaux et des relations avec les autorités fiscales.
  • Vous travaillez en collaboration avec des conseillers fiscaux externes sur des mandats spécifiques.
  • Vous menez des recherches approfondies en matière de fiscalité, restez informé des modifications législatives pertinentes et analysez leurs effets potentiels afin d’en informer la direction.
  • Vous concevez et optimisez les processus internes afin d’assurer la conformité fiscale.
  • Vous contribuez à la mise en œuvre de la méthodologie de prix de transfert. (atout)

Une vue claire de vos atouts

  • Vous avez un titre comptable professionnel (CPA) avec une maîtrise en fiscalité (ou l’équivalent du programme fondamental d’impôt de CPA Canada).
  • Vous avez un minimum de 4 à 6 ans d’expérience en conformité fiscale indirecte et en fiscalité des sociétés.
  • Vous avez de solides compétences en planification et en exécution.
  • Vous avez une excellente capacité à travailler en équipe avec un bon jugement d’affaires et un esprit d’initiative.
  • Vous maîtrisez les logiciels TaxPrep et MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Vous êtes bilingue (français et anglais) en raison de la nécessité de communiquer avec des employés et fournisseurs anglophones unilingues à travers le Canada.

TAX ADVISOR

Your tasks at a glance

Indirect tax compliance (CDN & US) & Income tax compliance (CDN)

  • You assist in the preparation, review and filing of Canadian tax returns (T2, T-5013) including prescribed filings (T5, T-1134, T-106, NR-4).
  • You oversee the Canadian sales tax compliance for the group and provide recommendations.
  • You assist with the data compilation and the review of the U.S. (Federal & State) tax returns (1120, 1065). Including prescribed filings (1099) and US Indirect tax functions (SALT).
  • You manage tax audits and collaborate with tax authorities.
  • You collaborate with external tax counsel regarding special mandates.
  • You conduct tax research as well as stay informed on relevant changes in the tax legislation (including tax incentives). You communicate their potential impacts to management.
  • You design and streamline internal processes to ensure compliance.
  • You contribute to the implementation of transfer pricing methodology. (asset)

A clear view of your assets

  • You have a professional accounting designation (CPA) and a master’s degree in taxation (or equivalent CPA Canada In-Depth).
  • You have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in corporate income tax and indirect tax.
  • You have strong planning and execution skills.
  • You are an excellent team player with solid business judgment and initiative.
  • You are proficient with Tax Prep, MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
  • You are fluent in French and in English, as you will have to communicate with unilingual English-speaking employees and service providers across Canada.
