Are you an HR professional who enjoys building, influencing, and creating meaningful change within a growing organization?

Our client is a growing organization in the healthcare and medical technology sector entering an exciting phase of expansion. As the company continues to evolve across multiple business entities, they are looking for an HR Manager who will play a key role in strengthening the organization’s people strategy by creating structure, implementing processes, and developing HR programs that support continued growth.

This is an opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys building and improving rather than simply maintaining existing processes. You will have the opportunity to make a direct impact on the employee experience, organizational culture, and the future direction of the HR function.

Why This Opportunity?

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Build and evolve the HR function by leveraging existing frameworks while creating new processes and best practices.

  • Work closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.

  • Develop scalable HR processes that support organizational growth.

  • Influence employee experience, culture, and talent development initiatives.

  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Technology, and Operations teams.

  • Bring structure and solutions to a dynamic and evolving environment.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, solving challenges, and taking ownership of initiatives that have a visible impact.

Key Responsibilities

HR Strategy, Policies & Compliance

  • Review, improve, and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Ensure compliance with Quebec and Canadian employment legislation.

  • Develop and maintain employee documentation, policies, and employee handbook materials.

  • Partner with leadership on employment practices, compliance, and risk mitigation.

HR Systems & Infrastructure

  • Build and improve HR processes to support organizational growth.

  • Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems, tools, and employee platforms.

  • Create a more structured and consistent employee experience across multiple entities.

Talent Management & Employee Experience

  • Support recruitment and onboarding initiatives.

  • Improve performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and review cycles.

  • Help develop career development and internal mobility programs.

  • Contribute to building a strong, collaborative company culture.

Compensation, Benefits & Employee Relations

  • Manage and enhance employee benefits programs.

  • Partner with Finance on payroll-related HR matters, compensation planning, and HR budgeting.

  • Support employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management initiatives.

  • Provide guidance and support to leaders on HR best practices.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience.

  • Experience working within a small-to-medium sized business or growth-stage organization.

  • Proven experience developing and implementing HR processes, policies, and infrastructure.

  • Strong knowledge of Quebec employment legislation.

  • Bilingual French/English communication skills, written and spoken.

  • Experience partnering with leadership teams and cross-functional departments.

  • A hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset.

  • The ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

A CRHA/CHRP designation is considered an asset.

The Ideal Profile

This opportunity is ideal for someone who:

  • Enjoys creating structure in an environment where processes continue to evolve.

  • Wants autonomy, visibility, and the ability to influence decisions.

  • Is comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities may change.

  • Wants their work to have a direct impact on employees and company growth.

  • Enjoys collaboration and building strong relationships across an organization.

What’s Offered

  • The opportunity to build and shape the HR function.

  • Direct collaboration with senior leadership.

  • A collaborative, mission-driven environment within the healthcare sector.

  • Hybrid flexibility (1–2 days/week in office).

  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.

  • Opportunity for growth as the organization continues to expand.

If you are looking for an HR leadership opportunity where you can truly make your mark and help shape the future of an organization, this could be the opportunity you have been waiting for.
