Job Description

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager will drive daily operations while motivating the team, fostering collaboration, and contributing to a culture rooted in engagement and excellence. The role supports key initiatives that elevate store performance, strengthen the brand, and ensure every customer enjoys an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Support & Coaching: Inspire & develop a high‑performing team in a positive environment plus maintain an active presence on the sales floor to guide and motivate.
• Customer Experience: Deliver outstanding service and prioritize customer satisfaction above tasks.
• Performance Support: Monitor KPIs, identify opportunities, and recommend actions to support store goals and brand growth.
• Talent Support & Development: Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training; support succession planning and contribute to performance management.
• Operations: Manage inventory, compliance, and procedures; demonstrate strong organization, time management, prioritization, and multitasking.
• Visual & Merchandising: Maintain an appealing environment aligned with presentation standards and optimize product displays.
• Problem‑Solving & Adaptability: Act quickly in a dynamic environment by proposing creative, tailored solutions; turn challenges into opportunities.
• Culture & Engagement: Foster a positive environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and employee engagement; lead by example and ensure adherence to the dress code.
• Scheduling & Floor Support: Assist in planning effective floor coverage, organizing daily tasks, and delegating as needed.
• Omni‑Channel: Support omnichannel initiatives to maximize sales and deliver a seamless customer experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in team management or supervision in a retail or customer‑focused environment.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional customer experience and engage the team in upholding high service standards.
• Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to maintain high performance and quality under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead a team toward objectives.
• Solid skills in driving strong sales performance.
• Excellent multitasking ability in a dynamic environment.
• Passion for fashion: good sense of style and solid knowledge of fashion trends.
• Proficiency with POS, ERP, ATS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Flexible availability; able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder up to 3 m (10 feet).
• High school diploma required.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: $42,000 – $50,000 (may be higher based on experience)
