An introduction to existential themes in philosophy. Topics will vary from year to year, including the search for meaning, the purpose of life, faith, freedom, death, sexuality, art, and the imagination. Philosophical texts may be supplemented with literature, poetry, and film.

Qualifications:
Duties and responsibilities: All normal duties related to the design and teaching of a university credit course, including preparation and delivery of course content; development, administration and marking of assignments; calculation and submission of grades; holding regular office hours.
Appointment Dates: September 1, 2026 – December 31, 2026
Note: All positions involve completion of any course grading not already finished by December, 2026.
