Job description
We are a warm, welcoming family in Hamilton looking for an experienced, nurturing nanny to care for our infant on a part-time, live-out basis starting April 2026 (with potential transition to September). I am a self-employed mom returning to virtual work from home three days per week and am looking for reliable, in-home support during those hours. We value a calm, engaging, and developmentally supportive environment for our son. Responsibilities include: Feeding (bottle and solids as age-appropriate) Diaper changes and nap support Engaging in developmentally appropriate play Outdoor walks (weather permitting) Light baby-related tidying (bottles, play area) Ideal candidate: Has experience caring for infants (10–18 months preferred) CPR/First Aid certified Warm, patient, and attentive Comfortable with a parent working from home Non-smoker We are offering $20/hour for approximately 3 days per week (6-8 hours per day), with some flexibility in scheduling. There may be potential for expanded hours if mutually desired. We are hoping to build a trusting, long-term relationship with someone who genuinely enjoys working with babies and wants to feel like part of our extended support system.
