New Business Advisor, Personal Lines Insurance

Location: Collingwood, ON (Huntsville office)

Compensation

Hired salary range: $44,000 to $55,000 (35‑hour work week). Commission available.

Responsibilities

• Identify sales opportunities, recommend appropriate personal lines insurance solutions, and close new business.
• Leverage insurance knowledge and strong sales skills to assess clients’ home, auto, and lifestyle insurance needs.
• Assess client needs and recommend home, auto, and lifestyle insurance solutions.
• Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to support growth.
• Manage client inquiries, documentation, and concerns in line with policies and service standards.
• Maintain accurate client records in accordance with privacy and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with colleagues, management, and insurance partners to foster strong team dynamics.
• Participate in sales initiatives, community events, and business development activities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of personal lines underwriting with a proactive, sales‑driven, client‑focused approach.
• Ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that meet client needs and business goals.
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients across multiple channels.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities effectively.
• RIBO license and at least one year of insurance experience.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development (CAIB or CIP is an asset).
