Job description
Job Title: Dock Worker/Forklift OperatorLocation: Saint John, NB (On‑site)Work Type: OngoingSalary: $19/hourVacancy: Existing vacancyThis Dock Worker/forklift operator role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working in a fast‑paced, physically active warehouse environment, solving logistics and inventory challenges, and working within a team‑focused distribution setting. The right person will recognize this role as a natural next step based on their warehouse or manual labor experience and ability to thrive in overnight shifts.What You’ll Do
  • Sort, organize, and store inventory in the proper location manually (up to 50lbs)
  • Consult order forms daily to pick the appropriate product for each order in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Handle and operate necessary tools and accessories in maintaining and managing a warehouse
  • Attention to detail is crucial in this role
  • Must be able to work in a very fast paced, team environment
  • Understanding the importance of workplace safety
What You’ll Bring
  • You must have a valid forklift certificate
  • You must have Warehouse experience or related experience
  • You must have CSA-approved safety boots (steel toe boots that cover your ankle)
  • You must have a clean criminal background
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to meet fast-paced productivity goals and standards
