Job Summary:

The Account Manager in Sales and Account Management and Client Services is responsible for daily account activity and for the core service delivery to assigned clients. Managing the day-to-day client relationship, the Account Manager is responsible for the overall satisfaction and retention of assigned book of business. The primary focus for the position is executing client-specific operational deliverables, monitoring service trends, providing proactive service-related consultation, and owning issue resolution. The primary measure of the Account Manager’s performance is by way of client satisfaction and client retention results. In addition, this position assists in managing new accounts and products, to ensure satisfaction, profitability, and contract renewal. The Account Manager is responsible for tracking operational performance guarantees and maintaining documentation for client review. Utilizes technology, tools, processes and resources to anticipate and exceed clients needs and expectations. The individual works with the Leadership team on developing strategies for up-sells, expansion and plan implementation for new and existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages day to day client relationships through comprehensive knowledge of client’s benefit plan and Express Scripts Canada’s product offerings.

  • Daily interacts with clients, consultants and producers providing preventative consultation, analysis and issue resolution associated with Express Scripts core services.

  • Responsible for timely and accurate management and execution of all client benefit requests, including benefit changes, product up-sells, new groups, terminations and escalated issues.

  • Proactively monitors and identifies service trends to allow for immediate resolution of any service issues; collaborates and takes immediate action to resolve operational/service-related issues; escalates issues when appropriate and drives recovery efforts.

  • Accountable for new group and specific product implementations; including establishing and leading internal meetings to ensure cross-functional collaboration in order to meet expected timelines and quality standards.

  • Leads client centric team meetings to review operational performance against client’s expectations and needs.

  • Presentation of operational performance metrics to clients on a monthly and/or quarterly basis to show specific performance measures in comparison with company’s book of business to promote client satisfaction, client retention and up-sell opportunities.

  • Work in collaboration with the rest of the Account Management team and the Client Service team on client strategic objectives and escalated service issues.

  • Special projects as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

  • Post-secondary education or equivalent in related work experience

  • 5+ years experience in a business-to-business service relationship

  • Experience in Health Care Insurance and or Benefits Industry is considered a strong asset

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to influence and facilitate change management

  • Proven planning, time and resource management skills

  • Strong Project management skills and proven ability to excel at strategic thinking and planning

  • Superior interpersonal communications, collaboration, relationship-building and influencing skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills; Bilingual (fluent in French and English) would represent a strong asset

Sommaire de l’emploi :

Au sein des équipes des ventes, de la gestion des comptes et du Service à la clientèle, le chargé de comptes est responsable des activités quotidiennes relatives aux comptes et de la prestation des principaux services aux clients assignés. En plus de gérer les relations avec ces clients au quotidien, le chargé de comptes veille à leur satisfaction globale et à leur fidélisation. Le titulaire de ce poste doit tout d’abord s’assurer de la production des livrables destinés aux clients. Il doit également effectuer un suivi des tendances en matière de service, offrir de manière proactive des conseils relatifs aux services et s’assurer de la résolution des problèmes. La principale mesure du rendement du chargé de comptes est la satisfaction et la fidélisation des clients. De plus, ce poste contribue à la gestion des nouveaux comptes et produits afin d’assurer la satisfaction, la rentabilité et le renouvellement des contrats. Le chargé de comptes est responsable du suivi des mesures de rendement opérationnel et du maintien de la documentation à cet égard aux fins d’évaluation du client. Il utilise la technologie, les outils, les processus et les ressources à sa disposition pour anticiper et dépasser les besoins et les attentes des clients. La personne retenue devra collaborer avec l’équipe de direction afin d’élaborer les stratégies de ventes incitatives, d’expansion et de mise en œuvre de plans pour les clients nouveaux et existants.

Responsabilités principales :

  • Gérer les relations quotidiennes avec les clients grâce à une connaissance approfondie du régime du client ainsi que de l’offre de produits d’Express Scripts Canada.

  • Interagir quotidiennement avec les clients, les consultants et les producteurs en matière de consultation préventive, d’analyse et de résolution de problèmes associés aux principaux services d’Express Scripts Canada.

  • Veiller à la gestion et à l’exécution rapides et précises de toutes les demandes relatives au régime du client, y compris les modifications des dispositions du régime, les ventes incitatives de produits, les nouveaux groupes, les résiliations et les problèmes qui ont été transmis à un niveau hiérarchique supérieur.

  • Surveiller et déceler de manière proactive les tendances en matière de service en vue de la résolution immédiate de tout problème lié au service. Prendre des mesures immédiates pour résoudre les problèmes opérationnels ou liés au service, en collaboration avec les intervenants pertinents. Transmettre les problèmes à un niveau hiérarchique supérieur, le cas échéant, et diriger les efforts visant à rétablir le service.

  • Veiller à la mise en œuvre des nouveaux groupes et des produits, y compris la planification et la tenue de réunions internes afin d’assurer une collaboration interfonctionnelle et de respecter les échéances et les normes attendues en matière de qualité.

  • Tenir les réunions d’équipe centrées sur le client pour évaluer le rendement opérationnel par rapport aux attentes et aux besoins du client.

  • Présenter les mesures de rendement opérationnel aux clients sur une base mensuelle et (ou) trimestrielle et les comparer à celles du bloc d’affaires de l’entreprise afin de promouvoir la satisfaction et la fidélisation des clients et les occasions de vente incitative.

  • Travailler en collaboration avec le reste des équipes de gestion des comptes et du Service à la clientèle en ce qui a trait aux objectifs stratégiques relatifs à la clientèle et aux problèmes de services qui ont été transmis à un niveau hiérarchique supérieur.

  • Participer aux projets spéciaux qui lui sont confiés.

Ce que nous recherchons :

  • Être titulaire d’un diplôme d’études postsecondaires ou posséder une expérience de travail connexe.

  • Posséder un minimum de cinq années d’expérience en gestion de services interentreprises.

  • Avoir de l’expérience dans le secteur de l’assurance soins de santé et (ou) des avantages sociaux est considérée comme un atout majeur.

  • Présenter d’excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles pour influencer et faciliter la gestion du changement.

  • Démontrer des habiletés en planification ainsi qu’en gestion du temps et des ressources.

  • Posséder de solides compétences en gestion de projet et des capacités avérées à exceller dans la réflexion et la planification stratégiques.

  • Démontrer des compétences supérieures en matière de communication interpersonnelle, de collaboration, d’établissement de relations et d’influence.

  • Avoir d’excellentes habiletés de communication et de présentation, à l’oral comme à l’écrit. Être bilingue (français et anglais) représente un atout important.
