Job Description

This position provides assessment and treatment to children, adolescents, transitional aged youth, and their families, living with an eating disorder. As part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidate will provide model adherent treatment including Family Based Treatment, CBT-E and CBT-AR, as well as co-lead family education and parent groups.


Qualifications

  • The successful candidate has current registration and membership in good standing with their designated college (RN, OT, MSW)
  • Considerable experience in family assessment/treatment within the context of a multi-function mental health psychiatric setting.
  • Skills and competencies to quickly establish supportive, trusting relationships with patients
  • Thorough knowledge of eating disorders and best practices in the treatment of eating disorders
  • Knowledge of community and professional resources in eating disorders
  • Knowledge, understanding and training in EFFT and DBT is an asset
  • Experience working with individuals with a mental health diagnosis such as Depression, Anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, OCD, ADHD.
  • Experience in facilitating groups
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem solving and conflict/crisis resolution skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports
  • Satisfactory employment and attendance record
  • Other duties as assigned


Additional Information

Hours: Monday to Friday - Day shift and 1 evening per week (hours subject to change based on operational requirements)

Salary: $47.039 to $60.979 per hour
