Reporting to the Technical Services Lead, the Intermediate/Senior Engineer will lead and support applied research and development projects for internal and external clients. This role requires a technically strong, solution-oriented individual with demonstrated ability in 3D modeling, design, and prototype development. The successful candidate will collaborate effectively with other functional teams, including Business Development and Shop Fabrication, to ensure successful project execution. Provide work instructions and guidance for the assembly, calibration, and evaluation of client equipment, including the sourcing of engineered components for project execution.Support and conduct field testing, data collection and analysisReport project milestones, risks and issues to direct report(s)Provide mentoring and guidance for other Engineers within the organizationCollaborate with the Business Development team to prepare and write proposals and reports; where required, contribute to project development and support efforts to secure external funding.Represent PAMI at trade shows, conferences, and stakeholder meetingsEnsure compliance with PAMI's quality and safety protocols.What do you need to succeed?University undergraduate degree in applicable area with appropriate professional designation with 15+ year's experience orMaster's degree or PhD in applicable area with 10+ year's experience.Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and instrumentation. Proficient in CAD and CAE tools with abilities in FEA and CFD an asset.
