Senior Manager, Financial Information and Control

What You’ll Do
Joint responsibility for managing a team of six to eight financial analysts:
- Supervision, management, and allocation of responsibilities
- Training and development of team members
- Monitoring and oversight of project progress handled by the analysts
Management and oversight of the preparation of periodic, quarterly, and annual financial information for internal purposes (to be shared with senior management) and external purposes (to meet regulatory requirements of a public company):
- Review of documents provided by business units and service centers
- Consolidation of financial information
- Preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, management report, and press releases
- Preparation of performance analyses and presentations for management and various committees
Other responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of the company’s accounting policies
- Support to business units and management
- Active participation in various special projects, including:
- Process improvement
- Contribution to the preparation of financing documents
- Integration of acquisitions
- Participation in internal benchmarking projects
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor in Administration
- Hold a CPA accounting designation
- Have 8 to 12 years of relevant experience
- Very good knowledge of IFRS accounting standards
- Experience in team management, resource development and project management
- Experience in complex accounting issues
- Be concerned about quality work, be autonomous and show initiative
- Know how to manage priorities while respecting deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and communicate
- Bilingualism necessary written and spoken (French and English)
- Be available to travel occasionally
- Excellent command of office automation tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Proficiency in Longview and Workiva an asset
