Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join a dynamic team working on the service and construction of modular units. Utilize hand and power tools to contribute to projects that require bending, twisting, and lifting up to 35-40lbs, always supported by a buddy lift system for heavier loads.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the service and construction of blast-resistant modular units.
• Operate hand and power tools efficiently and safely.
• Engage in framing, drywall hanging, and painting tasks.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year construction experience.
• Proficiency with power tools, including drills.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Experience in drywall hanging and painting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Drywall or renovation experience.
• WHMIS certification.
• Fall Protection certification.
• First Aid certification.

Work Environment

Work in a shop environment during a 6-month contract term, with hours from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Opportunities for overtime can reach up to 10+ hours per week.
