Job Summary
We are seeking a Production Associate in Surrey, BC for a direct hire opportunity in a steel fabrication and production environment. This is a strong fit for a dependable, hands-on production worker who enjoys active work, values safety, and is comfortable working in a physical, fast-paced shop setting.
The Production Associate will support the fabrication of steel and infrastructure products, handle rebar and related materials, and assist with shipping, receiving, and material movement. This role offers stable full-time work, clear daily expectations, and a supportive team environment where reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are valued.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with prior manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience who wants to build long-term stability in a practical, team-focused workplace with supportive leadership and a production-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on production lines to support the fabrication of steel and infrastructure products.
- Handle rebar, steel materials, and related production components safely and efficiently.
- Assist with loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, and general material handling duties.
- Use a pump truck to move materials throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production work area.
- Follow workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and daily production requirements.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $25 per hour.
- Shift premium: Additional $1 per hour after 5:00 PM.
- Schedule: Afternoon shift, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.
- Job type: Direct hire.
