Job description
Become a crucial part of Davey Tree as an Arborist Assistant and DZ Driver in Pickering, Ontario. Ensure timely transportation for your team while executing essential tree services on-site. In this full-time role, you will utilize your DZ driving skills to deliver crew and equipment safely to job sites. As an Arborist Assistant, you will be hands-on in providing various tree care services, including pruning and deadwood removal. This position offers year-round employment with training opportunities for personal and professional development. Key Responsibilities: • Drive the commercial vehicle to different sites • Log daily inspections for vehicle safety • Maintain cleanliness of the assigned truck • Participate in all tree care tasks safely • Collaborate with on-site crew members effectively Requirements: • AZ or DZ driver’s license required • Preferred background in Landscaping or Horticulture • Capacity to pursue Arborist certification • Strong knowledge of tree species • Must lift at least 50 lbs Advance your career in the arboriculture industry with Davey Tree’s dedicated team in Pickering. #J-18808-Ljbffr
