RBC GAM recognizes the importance of utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools as part of its investment process. The AI for Alpha initiative aims to accelerate the adoption of AI to equip investment teams to use these tools in ways that enhance their investment processes. The initiative includes all of the investment teams across the firm and leverages internal support functions such as technology and data, ensuring efficient execution and alignment with firm-wide objectives.

In the role of AI Adoption Analyst, you will support a key strategic initiative to drive AI adoption across RBC Global Asset Management’s investment teams. Working directly with portfolio managers, analysts, and traders, you will help deliver high-quality AI use cases and ensure that AI outputs are reliable, accurate and aligned with investment workflows. This is a unique opportunity for a junior professional to sit at the intersection of artificial intelligence and investment management, contributing to the transformation of how investment decisions are supported and executed.

What will you do?

• Support investment team members in their AI journey by ensuring effective adoption and a high-quality user experience.
• Evaluate AI use cases, agents, systems and skills to ensure output quality, reliability and alignment with investment workflows and objectives.
• Assist in developing and refining evaluation frameworks and quality assurance processes for AI agents and their outputs.
• Monitor AI system performance and usage to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collect and analyze user feedback to drive continuous improvement of AI tools and workflows.
• Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks and strategies, and communicate relevant developments to the investment team.
• Create and maintain documentation, best practices and shared resources for AI tool usage and use cases within investment teams.
• Collaborate with technology and data teams to escalate issues, communicate enhancement requests and support integration efforts.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-Haves

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics or related discipline).
• Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to deliver results in academic or professional settings.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering and current developments in AI and large language models.
• Proficiency in programming (e.g., Python).
• Strong numerical and/or statistical skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with investment management concepts (e.g., portfolio construction, risk management).
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks or APIs.
• Knowledge of evaluation methodologies for large language models and AI agents.
• Exposure to data visualization tools or business intelligence platforms.
• Experience working in or supporting financial services teams.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$55,000.00 - $90,000.00
