Teniye Market a division of Simpcw Resources Group is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Food Truck Team Members to join our seasonal team we are open to full-time or part-time applicants. The season typically ends on or around the end of September.

This is an excellent opportunity for students first-time job seekers or anyone looking to gain valuable customer service and food service experience in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

Reporting to the Store Manager the Food Truck Team Member is responsible for providing excellent customer service preparing and serving quality food products and helping create a welcoming experience for every customer. The successful candidate enjoys working with people takes pride in their work and contributes positively to a collaborative team environment.

Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Customer service or cash-handling experience is considered an asset
• Previous food service restaurant or cooking experience is considered an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Ability to work in a confined workspace and around kitchen equipment
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
• Food Safe Certification is an asset or willingness to obtain
• Reliable punctual and dependable

In this role you will:

• Greet customers in a friendly professional and welcoming manner
• Take customer orders and process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Prepare cook and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
• Ensure food quality freshness and presentation meet company expectations
• Follow all food safety sanitation and health regulations
• Assist with food preparation handling storage and inventory management
• Set up stock and organize the food truck for daily operations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck prep areas and storage spaces
• Monitor ingredient and supply levels and communicate inventory needs to management
• Promote menu items specials and seasonal offerings
• Answer customer questions and provide menu recommendations
• Open and/or close the food truck and market as required
• Respond to customer concerns in a professional and courteous manner
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
