interprovincial Road and Bridge Maintenance Contractor. We currently have an opportunity for an
enthusiastic individual to join our team as Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport Mechanics, OR an
opportunity for Employer Sponsorship partnership to the Apprentice Heavy Duty or Commercial
Transport trade certification.

The opportunity to become a Red Seal Journeyman HD Mechanic through the Employer

Required qualifications include:
Valid BC Driver’s License, Minimum Class 3 is preferred, positive driving record
Certified Trade Journeyman in Heavy Duty or Commercial Transport, or an aptitude/interest in
working on heavy equipment
Physically fit and capable of performing job requirements
CVI Certification would be an asset, opportunity for this training is available.
This position is part of a team that maintains an equipment fleet of graders, loaders, sweepers, trucks
and winter maintenance attachments. Knowledge and experience in Preventative Maintenance
Programs would be an asset.
Wages and benefit package as per the BCGEU Collective Agreement. Positions available in South
Vancouver Island, Revelstoke, Golden, West Kelowna, Merritt and Quesnel BC.
