Provide comprehensive dental care through diagnosis, treatment, and prevention for patients across the lifespan. Work closely with dental staff to maintain high standards of clinical care, safety, and patient comfort.

Main Duties
- Conduct oral examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Perform restorative procedures, including fillings, crowns, root canal therapy, and extractions.
- Administer local anesthesia, prescribe medications, and manage acute dental pain and infections.
- Interpret radiographs and other diagnostic tests; maintain accurate and timely patient records.
- Provide oral health education and preventive care guidance to patients and caregivers.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants and external specialists; ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited institution.
- Current registration and license to practice dentistry with the applicable provincial or territorial dental regulatory authority.
- Clinical experience in general dentistry; recent graduates who meet licensing requirements will be considered.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR and familiarity with dental emergency protocols.
- Experience using dental practice management software, digital radiography, and electronic health records.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and meet workplace infection control and immunization policies.
