Cook Weekdays- Scratch Kitchen

SAGE Dining Services® is seeking Lead Cooks to join our team at an independent school in the greater Toronto area. We are looking for experienced cooks who enjoy cooking restaurant-quality meals from scratch and want to be part of a solid team and a larger community, without working the late nights typical of restaurants. Staff enjoy a unique, 37-acre forest campus and a supportive culture focused on equity and innovation. Typical schedule is Monday- Friday 7:00 am- 3:00 pm.

What you'll do:

• Prepare assigned menu items in strict accordance with SAGE recipes, safety, and allergen policies that exceed our guests’ expectations.
• Ensure that all food is appropriately displayed and visually appealing.
• Interact positively with SAGE guests and Team Members.
• Use proper food handling, storage, and sanitation techniques (HAACP).

What you'll need:

• Experience with cooking in a commercial kitchen.
• Ability to understand and execute recipes and instructions in English.
• Ability to interact with SAGE guests and Team Members in a professional and positive manner.
