Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced
Industrial Maintenance Millwright (Red Seal) to join a leading manufacturing organization in Scarborough.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled trades professional who enjoys troubleshooting complex equipment, driving continuous improvement, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll play a critical role in maintaining equipment reliability, improving operational performance, and supporting production excellence.
The successful candidate will initially work a
day shift , with the potential to transition to a
continental shift schedule , including weekends, based on business needs.
- Pay Rate: $53.00 - $64.00 per hour

Responsibilities: - Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair:
- Mechanical systems
- Hydraulic systems
- Pneumatic systems
- Conveyors and material handling equipment
- Lead and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives to improve equipment performance and operator capabilities
- Participate in daily 5S activities to maintain an organized and efficient workplace
- Actively contribute to Daily Management System (DMS) meetings and continuous improvement initiatives
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability
- Collaborate with production teams to identify and resolve equipment and safety concerns
- Support breakdown response and emergency maintenance activities as required
- Complete all maintenance tasks safely and in accordance with company procedures and standards
- Contribute to a culture focused on safety, operational excellence, and continuous improvement
Qualifications and Skills: - Interprovincial Red Seal Millwright Certification (Required)
- Experience maintaining industrial manufacturing equipment such as:
- Conveyors
- Pumps
- Compressors
- Motors
- Gearboxes
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with SAP is considered an asset
- Previous experience with TPM, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous manufacturing environments is preferred
- Mu st be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
