Accounting Associate - 6-Month Contract

About the Opportunity

• Own the full accounts payable and accounts receivable cycle, including recording daily transactions, reconciling subledgers, and processing supplier invoices from receipt through GL coding and approval routing
• Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices, reconcile sales orders and monthly production or shipments against billing, and apply incoming customer payments while monitoring the AR aging report for discrepancies
• Support month-end and year-end close by preparing journal entries and reconciliations, and prepare and submit periodic government sales tax filings

About You

• A bookkeeping or accounting professional with a few years of experience in a high-volume billing environment, comfortable managing both AP and AR responsibilities in parallel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, with a solid grasp of accounting principles and working knowledge of spreadsheet tools including lookups and pivot tables
• Organized and self-directed, able to prioritize competing deadlines, communicate clearly across departments, and flag questionable items before they become problems

Pay Range
$28 - $31 per hour
